Korean "Posco" predicts that the global steel demand will increase by 10 percent in 2010.
Besides, iron ore and coking coal prices will rebound this year, said, Park Myung-kil, a senior vice president at POSCO.
"Global steel market recovery will depend on how much actual demand will recover in developed countries, and how supply and demand will change in China," Park said in a document.
Posco plans to produce 32 million tons of crude steel this year.
