Scrap Metal Import Prices up in Asia, March 2010

Asia’s import price of scrap kept increasing. The latest import price for No1 and No2 mixed scrap (80:20) from America to Taiwan was quoted at US$385/ton, increased by US$10/ton as compared with last week.

The export price to Vietnam was at CFR US$390/ton. And the price to other East Asia countries and areas was at CFR US$380 – US$385/ton.
