CIS exporters have increased the price for long products by US$20/ton for February production due to soaring scrap and billet costs,
The rebar export offer has increased to US$460~470/ton, while wire rod export price has hiked to US$480~490/ton.
Higher raw material prices are the main reason for the rise in long product. Demand remained relatively weak in the Middle East region.
